Crafting with Courtney

03/04/20

St. Patrick's Day Crafts

Courtney is back for St. Patrick's Day crafts.  Children are meeting from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. and ladies are meeting from 10:00 - 11:00.

Even though the snow drifts were high, many adults and children made it to the library for crafting fun on Saturday, Feb. 8th.  Kids made 3 different crafts for Valentine's Day and adults made a Valentine's Gnome.  It was a very successful morning for all.

We now have 501 (c)(3)

McIntosh Law Firm Creates a Non-Profit Organization

Thanks to Jeremiah McIntosh, our library has become a charitable nonprofit organization.  This means that you can now support our library with your tax-deductible donations.  This status will also enable us to apply for grants from private organizations and the government.

Discover Your Ancestors

11/15/19

We are creating a place where genealogy searches can be conducted

Downstairs in the Barbara Porter room, we will be creating a place where we will provide helpful information on conducting searches.  Our existing materials will be stored in one area.  If you have done extensive research on your own and would like to provide the library with your research, we would love to add it to our collection.  Also, when you are in the library, you have free access to Ancestry.com.  We can help you get started with your search.

Book Store Exploding with New Titles

11/08/19

Something for Everyone

Plan to stop in between 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evenings to find a bargain at our store.  If this is a bad time, you are welcome to check out our store any time the library is open.  Just check in with our librarian, Lois Walton, and she will direct you to the store.  Our books are no longer marked with a price.  All we ask is that you leave a donation for our new Toddler Area.

It's Toddler Story Time!

08/29/19

No story time during January

Story Time for Toddlers takes place on Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m.  Check our calendar for the next scheduled meeting.  Please welcome our teacher, Courtney Howe.  Remember to use the back entrance.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Knitting Studio @ the Library

Join us on Tuesday evenings 6:00 - 8:00 to enjoy learning a life-long skill

Would you like to learn to knit? We will teach you. Do you want help with knitting projects? We will do that. Would you like to learn new knitting techniques such as turning the heel of a sock, making mittens with thumbs, the ten-stitch blanket, lace, fair isle color knitting? This is the place to come. All ages are welcome! It will also be a place where people who would just like to sit and knit with like-minded people are welcome. We are open to whatever the participants would like.

We are really enjoying this time and would love to have you join in the fun.
